Meet Walter

Walter is a dedicated coach with over four years of experience. His career began at the Athletic
Club Sparta Praha, where he was a professional athlete from 2004 to 2014. He was a
multiple-time national champion in discus throwing and competed in the European championship.
After relocating to Zurich in 2018 he took up his tennis practice and reached a personal best
ranking of R6. Nowadays he exclusively focuses on teaching others, believing that anyone can
improve quickly if they put in enough time and effort. His goal is to help his students reach their full
potential. He lives by the saying: “It’s normal to fall. But the losers stay down. The winners stand
up.” Given his height of over 2m, his favourite stroke is the serve.
